Creating Baby-Friendly Communities in Illinois: Strategies for Successful Collaboration between Hospitals and Local Health Departments is now available. This guide is a result of a recent collaborative project between ICAAP and the Illinois Department of Public Health's We Choose Health Initiative, which aimed to assist fifteen Illinois hospitals and their local health departments on their journey through the Baby-Friendly Pathway. Creating Baby-Friendly Communities in Illinois highlights four hospital success stories as an example for others to follow in their own pursuit of Baby-Friendly designation. The guide can be downloaded from ICAAP's website for free.
