ILPQC is always looking for dedicated hospital teams, perinatal clinicians, patients, public health leaders, and policymakers committeed to improving health care and outcomes for mothers and babies across Illinois.

Interested in participating in an ILPQC quality improvement initiative? Use the roster form to sign up for a current initiative. We are currently recruiting for Wave 1 teams for The Promoting Vaginal Birth Initiative.

  • Advisory Workgroups

    Obstetric Advisory
    The Obstetric Advisory Workgroup is made up of providers, nurses, public health, and quality professionals who advise our Leadership Team on our current obstetric QI initiatives and proposes and develops future obstetric or perinatal QI projects. This group meets the second Monday of the month from 12-1:30pm. Please email info@ilpqc.org if you are interested in partcipating.

    Neonatal Advisory
    The Neonatal Advisory Workgroup is made up of providers, nurses, public health, and quality professionals who advise our Leadership Team on our current neonatal QI initiatives and proposes and develops future neonatal or perinatal QI projects. This group meets the first Monday of the month from 1-2pm. Please email info@ilpqc.org if you are interested in partcipating.

  • Grand Rounds Speakers Bureau

    This group is available to give Grand Rounds or provider meeting presentations on ILPQC initiatives to participating hospitals. We seek dedicated experts throughout Illinois to present Grand Rounds or present at provider meetings upon request from hospital teams. Please email info@ilpqc.org with if you are interested in joining the Grand Rounds Speakers Bureau and for what initiative.

  • Clinical Training Volunteer

    We are developing capacity to provide technical trainings on promoting vaginal birth to hospital teams. Please email info@ilpqc.org if you are interested in participating as a trainer.

  • Patient or Family Advisor

    Patient and family advisors have firsthand experiences with maternal and infant morbidity and mortality and advise our Leadership Team on opportunities to engage patients in our quality improvement initiatives. Please email info@ilpqc.org if you are interested in working with ILPQC as a patient or family advisor.
