Advisory Workgroups

Obstetric Advisory
The Obstetric Advisory Workgroup is made up of providers, nurses, public health, and quality professionals who advise our Leadership Team on our current obstetric QI initiatives and proposes and develops future obstetric or perinatal QI projects. This group meets the second Monday of the month from 12-1:30pm.

Neonatal Advisory
The Neonatal Advisory Workgroup is made up of providers, nurses, public health, and quality professionals who advise our Leadership Team on our current neonatal QI initiatives and proposes and develops future neonatal or perinatal QI projects. This group meets the first Monday of the month from 1-2 p.m.

Community Advisory Boards

OB and Neonatal Community Advisory Board (CAB)  are a group of individuals with lived experience and community insight who provide input and guidance on perinatal quality improvement initiatives. Within ILPQC, CAB members help ensure that maternal and infant health projects reflect the priorities, values, and needs of the communities they aim to serve.

Patient or Family Advisor

Patient and family advisors have firsthand experiences with maternal and infant morbidity and mortality and advise our Leadership Team on opportunities to engage patients in our quality improvement initiatives.

Grand Rounds Speakers Bureau

This group is available to give Grand Rounds or provider meeting presentations on ILPQC initiatives to participating hospitals. We seek dedicated experts throughout Illinois to present Grand Rounds or present at provider meetings upon request from hospital teams.
