Maria Villagomez is the Registered Nurse Quality Improvement Coordinator at the Illinois Perinatal Quality Collaborative (ILPQC). She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Benedictine University as well as a Nursing Degree from College of DuPage. Maria has bedside experience in labor and delivery and postpartum units, as well as quality improvement experience. She served as Director of Quality Improvement at a Federally Qualified Health Center, where they managed clinical quality measures, staff education, and performance improvement projects. Maria is excited to support ILPQC’s mission to improve maternal and infant health outcome and reduce disparities across Illinois.
