The March of Dimes Big 5 State Perinatal Collaborative (comprised of perinatal leaders from CA, FL, IL, NY and TX) formed a 5-state pilot program to help hospitals work towards 100% administration of ACT to mothers who are candidates to receive antenatal steroids and deliver between 23-34 weeks gestation. 12 participating Illinois hospitals received a variety of resources to support their improvment efforts, including a data collection portal, ACT toolkit, grand rounds and monthly training webinars, all provided at no cost to participating hospitals.

Objectives

1. Standardize ACT processes and procedures

2. Develop, add or amend ACT hospital policy to document standardization of ACT processes

3. Ensure ready availability of ACT on L&D

4. Track ACT rates among patients who deliver between 23 and 34 weeks gestation

8. Sign Data Use Agreement and submit monthly data to Health Catalyst (third party)
