Tochukwu Akujieze, MPH

Tochukwu Akujieze is the Community Engagement Coordinator at the ILPQC. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Walden University and a Bachelor of Biological Science from Chicago State University. Tochukwu has demonstrated her passion for improving the health and well-being through community outreach and engagement. Prior to her current role, she assisted in the advancement of health equity and focused on marginalized communities through her direct involvement as a community health worker with diverse populations to address their health disparities and as a public health researcher in program evaluation and research. Tochukwu is excited to strengthen partnerships and improve the maternal and infant health outcomes across Illinois.
